DAV Free Meal

Sun, 11 Oct 2026 00:00:00 GMT

Yesterday we volunteered at the Disabled Veterans Meal serving at the Dodge County Fairgrounds. It was our 5th year. I got to learn all about dirty sodas and how to make them. It was a delight to see the older generation get gitty and excited about trying a dirty soda. Our daughter did face painting for the 5th year. Thank you for your service Vets.

Time to get some dust, mold and mildew off the sign. Another full year of construction I was just told on the radio. So late summer of 2027. Which means another year of not trying to do anything with this space. When almost all the businesses have closed on 2nd Street it doesn't pay to create something new. We are here to at least keep it from getting so dirty. #mayoclinic #rochestermn #contruction
